Donna Bee was born in Saigon, Vietnam in 1951 as the oldest of four siblings. She met her neighbor, schoolmate, co-worker and future husband, Charles, at the age of 16. They came to America together during the Vietnam War and married in 1981. They added twins and then another daughter to complete the family of five. Donna's work life progressed from being a waitress to owning restaurants, then years of diligent work in the technology manufacturing industry. She fought a strong and courageous battle first with Still's Disease, then colon cancer when diagnosed in 2006. Even throughout her battle she was a dedicated and enthusiastic mother, wife, daughter, sister, auntie Donna, friend, volunteer, and neighbor. While words can't begin to describe how much we'll miss her, we will always remember Donna as a committed and generous woman who took pride in caring for her family and loving her friends.
